Hey there, Comics Fan!
It's me again,
THE APOCOLYTE!
Welcome to
Our Weird Wednesday story today is a bizarre little horror tale from 1950 called "THE BLACK TARANTULA". It's the story of Count Zoraster Rorret, who is really, really, really evil. Why, in a surprising coincidence, his name "RORRET" spelled backwards is "TERROR!" Huh! Go figure! I wonder if he knows that?
The story and art are by...unknown, according to GCD.
It originally appeared in a one-shot comic by Fox called
There is plenty of weird stuff here, and a nifty full page panel of something eeeviiil eating some villagers. Yum yummy yum!
Let the WEIRD-ness begin!

Below is the sweet L.B. Cole cover art.
