THE APOCOLYTE!
This is Day 3 of ROBOT WEEK,
and I bring you another Robotic adventure.
Today's tale is entitled "THE CRIME MACHINE",
and it originally was published in American Comic Group's ADVENTURES INTO THE UNKOWN #58, August 1954.
The artist is Robert Q. Sale, who spent the main part of his comics career drawing for Atlas / Marvel comics during the 1950's.
During that time at Marvel (between 1952 and 1957 when he left comics for advertising) Sale did only one story for another company,
and this is that story.
It is a story as old as the hills,
the story of a giant ROBOT who runs amuck and kills so many people your head will spin.
But don't blame him. He was only doing what he was told, of course.
