THE APOCOLYTE

Today I am presenting yet another fantastic
DOUBLE FEATURE,
two awesome classic ROBOT comic stories from EC Comics!

First up is Part 2 of the adventures of Adam Link, ROBOT!
Artwork is again by Joe Orlando, drawing Al Feldstein's adaptation of Otto Binder's original story, from I, ROBOT!

From WEIRD SCIENCE-FANTASY #28, 1955,

For our second feature,
we go back a few years to the beginnings of EC's New Trend, in 1950.
Publisher Bill Gaines and his editor/head writer Al Feldstein begin an experimental new style of comics. From the first issue of WEIRD FANTASY comes this tale by Al Feldstein (and Gaines).

ROBOT WEEK Day 5 - A Ditko Double Feature!

Hello, friend!

I am

THE APOCOLYTE!

I don't know if you've heard this yet, but

That means one thing...
and lots of 'em!

Today's Robot du jour is a double helping,
twice the nice at half the price!
Two delectable Ditko mini-masterpieces!

These stories come out of Marvel's pre-hero days, when Jack Kirby, Steve Ditko, and others were filling pages with plenty of monsters, creatures, science fiction, and mystery (with a dash of westerns and romance here and there)

First up:
A space traveler and his ROBOT encounter trouble!
From JOURNEY INTO MYSTERY #65, 1961, it's

"FEAR IN THE NIGHT!"

Time for our second act!

Sometimes these ROBOTS get a little pushy!
Nobody likes a bossy ROBOT!

From TALES TO ASTONISH # 18, 1961,
LOOK OUT!
It's a

"ROBOT ON THE RAMPAGE!"
