-stay tuned-

I need to hear from you to bring this blog back...I know you're out there.
Enough comments will restore this blog's content and even bring new comic posts.
It only takes a minute to comment. I am waiting to hear from you.

    1. Kurt,
Thank you for your comment! Yes, I enjoy the back and forth of reader's and other bloggers like you, every once in a while at the least makes us all feel like we're aren't alone. It's a little like dressing in a tuxedo for dinner every night, sitting by yourself with a frozen dinner...well, it's not really like that, but...you get it!
I appreciate you taking time to comment!

Thanks for taking the time to comment, and for the encouragement! I'll see what possibilities I can manage in the days ahead!

  4. As a long-time blogger I know the feeling that you are in this alone, putting time and effort (and precious energy) into something you feel may not be appreciated. I prefer to think of the nature of blogging as being like throwing a bottle into the ocean. Sooner or later it will wash up on somebody's shore and they may be delighted.

I believe that the first person you have to please is you. If you like what you are doing then consider that others may share what you like. Not everyone is a commenter. Some are just observers. But you should think that every day you are reaching unknown people, giving them your best, and they dig it whether they write to tell you that or not.

    1. Pappy,
Thank you for your encouragement and your input. Your words hit home and make a lot of sense. Sage advice from the "Pappy" of all of us comic bloggers! I very much appreciate your support! Thank you!

  5. I think this is one of my favorite comic blogs. I only came across your blog recently, but the comics here are usually pretty cool, and your writing is fun to read. It seems like you put a lot of effort into this blog, with all the graphics, and whatever scanning you have to do. I hope you find the encouragement to come back and post more, because I for one enjoy what you do here, even if I don't leave comments. Maybe in the future I will try to leave more feedback.

    1. Anonymous,
Thank you for your comment, and your compliments. I know I shouldn't be doing it for the comments, but sometimes it is nice to hear from you and other readers, and hear what you have to say, whether good or bad. I appreciate you taking the time to post a comment!

  6. I tend to be a reader, not a commenter, but I value the labor you've been putting into this blog. The work you do on the scans is impressive; Frazetta's Thun'da was particularly beautiful. Please keep it up and know your effort is appreciated.

    1. Dan,
Thank you for taking the time to comment, and for the very kind words! I really do appreciate your words! I'm glad that you enjoyed the THUN'DA story. Frazetta's art deserves to be presented in the very best light possible! Thanks very much for your feedback.

  7. I've enjoyed your 'blog greatly in the past. More recently, I've faced problems in following it.

Other aspects of my life have cut into the time that I would use to follow 'blogs in general, and the graphic content of your pages is overwhelming my 'Net connection or my browser or both. Visiting your 'blog has become a matter of sending an HTTP request, and then waiting something over 5 minutes for the page to load. I've not investigated just where the bottle-neck is.

    1. Daniel,
Thanks for your (semi)faithful viewing and comments! I always enjoy your input and illumination! I apologize about the bandwidth (?) issue...If I can determine a solution, I will implement in the future. I hope you are able to come back when I am posting again in the near future (hopefully) and I will be keeping my fingers and toes crossed so that you (and anyone else) will not encounter such difficulties. That, as the "kids" say, bums me out, man...
      I greatly appreciate your comment(s)!

  8. I'm also a blogger and I totally understand how it feels when you spend hours updating your blog, writing posts, choosing the right pics, etc., just to have zero comments.

For the record, I really like your blog and I'll be glad to see you're updating it again on a frequent basis.
